When to Use PT275 Wall Ties

PT275 wall ties are typically used where the cavity width is between 125mm and 150mm and the specification calls for a Type 4 housing tie. They are a common choice for domestic masonry cavity walls and extensions where this cavity range and tie type are suitable.

If your cavity is 75–100mm, a 225mm wall tie may be required. If your cavity is 100–125mm, a 250mm wall tie may be more suitable. Always check the stated cavity range before ordering.
